Fog
what is fog?.Fog is a cloud that occurs at the ground level instead of in the sky.Fog is made up of water droplets that float suspended in the air,but it also consist of ice particles duringvery cold conditions.Under most circumstances, air contains water vapor. The warmer the air, the more water it can hold. As the air cools, it loses its ability to hold that water.
So in India fog increases in the month of December and January so visibility decreases and this effects life of everyone. The delays of flight and buses effects the most. The most of the accidents happens in this time due to low visibility. So we have to take some safety measure for our and others safety too.
Safety Measures in Fog:
1.Slow Down-People often drive too fast in the fog they think there isn't car in front of them.Due to low visibility cars will get hide,so drivers may not see the cars in front of them.Best way to keep safe is to slowing down the car speed.
2.Use Fog Lights:if you have the front fog light,it can help you to illuminate the road. With this you can see the next vehicle from a greater distance.some vehicles have rear fog lamps which helps the drivers following you to see you from greater distance.
3.Drive only if necessary-Always hear the weather forecast news from going outside the home.If the conditions is going to be worst then its good to take the public transport instead of your vehicle.
4.check your Headlight:If you do decide to venture out, then before you leave, you should try and make a quick check of your lights. Turn on your dipped beams and check the lights are working on both sides, at the front and at the back.
